Painted Barn Quilt Workshop
Join us for a Painted Barn Quilt Workshop on Saturday, April 26th, from 10am-2pm. Instructor Carol Mitchell
will lead participants in creating their own 2’ x 2’ painted barn quilt.

Heritage Fair
Join us for the annual North Carolina Heritage Fair on Wednesday, April 16th at 8:45 am, 10:15 am, and 12:30 pm.
Come and experience North Carolina's history in the 1850s, with interactive hands-on learning opportunities, costumed historical interpreters, and live demonstrations.

Applied SmartPhone Photography Workshop
We are excited to offer the Applied SmartPhone Photography
by Sarah Loudermilk of Laze L Farm Photography!
We will venture out to a local farm where we will have the opportunity to practice different photography
skills. This class is for beginners, as well as those who participated in the previous SmartPhone
Photography Workshop.

Steak Dinner Fundraiser
Join us on Friday, April 11th at 7PM for our annual Steak Dinner Fundraiser.
Guests at this historic preservation fundraiser will enjoy an evening consisting of a silent
auction and a delectable meal! The steak dinner will include a ribeye steak, baked potato, salad,
roll, and dessert. It is sure to be a night full of joy and fellowship. Music will be provided by Honeycutt Canvas.

Adult Art Competition
We are excited for our annual 2025 Adult Art Competition.
The Adult Art Competition will be for adults 18 and over and we will have six different categories for you to submit your art to!
The Center looks forward to showcasing works by local talent!
Irish Done Right

Join us Friday, March 14 from 7PM - 9PM for a night of Irish Dancing by St Joseph Irish Dancers, Celtic Music by Erin Tide and Author Peter Givens.
A traditional Irish fare will be served by the St Joseph Irish Dancers.

Line Dance Class w/ Donna & Craig begins 9/9/24 6:30-9:30pm
PAY THE DOOR $5.
The weekly 3 hour program will focus on beginners during the first half of the class from 6:30-8:00 pm; and the second half from 8:00 pm-9:30 pm is for teaching dances to those who are ready to learn more.
Classes will begin September 9th at the Hiddenite Center’s Educational
Complex (70 Hiddenite Church Rd. Hiddenite, NC) with instructors Craig and Donna Statt who will lead all skill levels in the hottest country line dances. Doors open at 6:00pm.
6-week Pottery Class

Join Sally Warren as she instructs pottery for all levels on Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday evenings from 7:00-9:00 pm at the Center's Education Complex. Class takes place in a fully equipped pottery studio! Students of all levels enjoy creative freedom as Sally facilitates and teaches various pottery techniques. JAM Kids Music Classes return!!!
Open to students 5th grade through adult beginning Tuesday, October 1st. Classes will take place from 4-5pm at the Hiddenite Center's Educational Complex. "family style" learning atmosphere, in a jam setting with instruction in guitar & fiddle (loaner instruments available as supplies last..)

6-week Arts & Crafts Class
After-School Arts & Crafts: Join instructor Vickie Hendren at the Educational Complex on Thursdays from 4:00-5:30 pm for a fun-filled class brimming with colorful arts & crafts activities perfect for elementary-aged children! Students will learn about the elements and principles of art while crafting and creating masterpieces! Register by Clicking on the link above or Call 828-632-6966. Students may also pay $5 at the door.
Heritage Homeschool Classes
SOLD OUT The Basic Heritage Homeschool class registration is open and will take place from September through May! Classes take place at the Educational Complex on the FIRST Wednesday of each month for new students beginning October 2nd from 10 am - noon. Parents remain with their children and play a special part in the learning experience. The class series keeps the family at heart and is open to students from kindergarten through high school!
