The Hiddenite Arts & Heritage Center invites children in kindergarten through fifth grade to join us this April for a colorful and creative Summer Arts & Crafts Adventure!

This unique event invites guests to enjoy an evening of relaxed, outdoor dining on the Lucas Mansion's wraparound porch. Seating will be offered at 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. each Saturday. Guests will enjoy a thoughtfully prepared meal featuring a rotating weekly menu, paired with sides, dessert, and refreshing beverages. Call 828-632-6966 to reserve your table.

The Hiddenite Arts & Heritage Center will be hosting a Mother’s Day Tea at the historic Lucas Mansion (316 Hiddenite Church Rd, Hiddenite) on Saturday, May 9th from 10am until
11:30am. The mansion’s wrap-around porch will be dressed in its tea party finest!

In celebration of the 250 th anniversary of America, an incredibly special event will be held on May 29, 2026, 7:00 pm, at Rocky Face Park in Hiddenite, NC. Partners PATRIOTS THEATER and STUDIO 3 will bring this performance to life with music and theatrical performances in an open-air setting where actual events portrayed took place.

Painted Barn Quilt Workshop on Saturday,June 6th, from 10am-2pm. Instructor Carol Mitchell
will lead participants in creating their own 2’ x 2’ painted barn quilt.

Join Sally Warren as she instructs pottery for all levels on Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday evenings from 7:00-9:00 pm at the Center's Education Complex. Class takes place in a fully equipped pottery studio! Students of all levels enjoy creative freedom as Sally facilitates and teaches various pottery techniques. The Basic Heritage Homeschool class will take place from September through May! Parents remain with their children and play a special part in the learning experience. The class series keeps the family at heart and is open to students from kindergarten through high school!
