Wild Herbs and Foraging Workshop
Back by popular demand, The Hiddenite Center is excited to announce a Wild Herbs and Foraging Workshop to be held on August 23 from 10am-2pm! Amy Barr of Heritage Hills Farm will lead an informative lesson on the uses of herbs growing right in your own backyard.
Kids Pottery Class
The Hiddenite Arts & Heritage Center is excited to announce a creative and hands-on opportunity for young artists this fall! A two-part pottery art class designed specifically for
children in 1st through 5th grades will be offered on September 6 and September 20 from 9:00
AM to 11:00 AM each day.

Celebrate Seniors Luncheon
The Hiddenite Arts & Heritage Center is excited to host the annual Celebrate Seniors Luncheon at the Hiddenite Center’s Educational Complex on Tuesday, September 16th at 10 am! A catered lunch will feature chicken salad croissants, pasta salad, fresh fruit, and dessert.
Luxury Picnics
Indulge in a delightful outing with Luxury Dessert Picnics at the Lucas Mansion. Enjoy a charming picnic in the gazebo on the Mansion’s front lawn, featuring locally made sweet
treats.
Emerging Artist
The Hiddenite Arts and Heritage Center is proud to announce that the Emerging Artist for July through October 2025 will be Jessica Barlow of Wilkes County. Barlow first gained recognition earlier this year during the Center’s 2025 Adult Art Competition, where her wildlife and natural environment renderings earned a First Place award.

Line Dance Classes 6:30-9:00 pm
PAY THE DOOR $5.
The weekly program will focus on beginners during the first half of the class from 6:30-8:00 pm; and the second half from 8:00 pm-9:00 pm is for teaching dances to those who are ready to learn more.
Classes will be held at the Hiddenite Center’s Educational Complex (70 Hiddenite Church Rd. Hiddenite, NC) on Mondays where you will be lead in all skill levels in the hottest country line dances. Doors open at 6:00pm.
6-week Pottery Class
Join Sally Warren as she instructs pottery for all levels on Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday evenings from 7:00-9:00 pm at the Center's Education Complex. Class takes place in a fully equipped pottery studio! Students of all levels enjoy creative freedom as Sally facilitates and teaches various pottery techniques. JAM Music Classes
Open to students 5th grade through adult. Classes will take place from 4-5pm on Tuesdays at the Hiddenite Center's Educational Complex. "family style" learning atmosphere, in a jam setting with instruction in guitar & fiddle (loaner instruments available as supplies last..)

6-week Arts & Crafts Class
COMING FALL 2025
After-School Arts & Crafts: Join us at the Educational Complex on Thursdays from 4:30-6:00 pm for a fun-filled class brimming with colorful arts & crafts activities perfect for elementary-aged children! Students will learn about the elements and principles of art while crafting and creating masterpieces! Register by Clicking on the link above or Call 828-632-6966. Heritage Homeschool Classes
COMING FALL 2025
The Basic Heritage Homeschool class registration will open soon and will take place from September through May! Classes take place at the Educational Complex on the FIRST Wednesday of each month for new students beginning October 8th from 10 am - noon. Parents remain with their children and play a special part in the learning experience. The class series keeps the family at heart and is open to students from kindergarten through high school!
