CLASS IS FULL The Center proudly offers monthly Heritage Homeschool Classes from Sept - May! Classes take place at the Educational Complex on the last Wednesday of each month from 10am-noon. Parents remain with their children and play a special part in the learning experience. The class series keeps the family at heart; we have students from kindergarten - high school! This year's theme is "Off the Land." Call 828-632-6966 to be added to our waitlist.
Thursday, October 5th from 5 - 7 pm at the Center's Lucas Mansion. Refreshments will be served. Micah Henry's "Celebrating Faces & Places," a photography exhibit coupled with a collection of antique cameras and typewriters, will be on display at the Lucas Mansion during the months of September and October.

Pottery Class: Join Sally Warren as she instructs pottery for all levels on Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday evenings from 7:00-9:00 pm at the Center's Education Complex. Class takes place in a fully equipped pottery studio! Students of all levels enjoy creative freedom as Sally facilitates and teaches various pottery techniques. Healing with Art: All are welcome to join this open studio class! Participants are asked to bring their own art supplies and can expect to learn to paint or hone their skills with instructor Heather Friday on Tuesdays from 6:30-8:30 pm at the Center’s Educational Complex. Participants may contact the Center for assistance in selecting supplies to bring. This class has been designed to teach the principles of art in a positive environment that fosters creative growth and reflection.

After-School Arts & Crafts: Join instructor Jennifer Hester at the Educational Complex on Thursdays from 5:00 - 6:30 pm for a fun-filled class brimming with colorful arts & crafts activities perfect for elementary-aged children!
